Our Mission is to encourage children to achieve their individual academic and physical potentials within a comfortable and co-operative environment.

Curriculum

Rathdowney State School offers:

  • Proven success for all students with its unique and innovative program for Prep to Year 3 in the school’s Early Learning Centre

  • Student workshops throughout the year in areas such as art, drama, music, history, science, health, dance, emergency and community services, and more
  • Cooking classes
  • An active student council whose projects include a school vegetable garden, fund-raising for charity and maintaining the school grounds
  • A playgroup at school every Wednesday
